New Date Night Experience With 4-Course Wine Pairings and Movie Screening: Heights and Co

Heights and Co. just rolled out a new experience that might be one of the most charming date nights in Houston: Vacation by the Glass! Created in collaboration with Everywine, this outdoor dinner series combines wine, food, and film into a fun escape.

Here’s the setup: you arrive at a cozy garden space lit by warm pergola lights, sip on a complimentary cocktail, and mingle before dinner begins. As the sun goes down, guests are guided to the pergola, strung with dreamy lights and set up for the screening. Once the movie starts, the real fun begins.

At key moments throughout the film, the movie pauses for a quick, engaging intro to the next wine and paired course. The pacing is spot on—just enough time to learn something new, sip something delicious, and enjoy a dish that compliments the setting. The wine pairings are all curated to match the night’s destination, with a dessert wine closing things out on a sweet note.

Tickets are just $35, which includes the cocktail, wine flight, and movie screening. The 4-course dinner and live s’mores add-on is $45, and absolutely worth it if you’re planning to make a full evening of it.

We went during their Texas series, but other destinations include A Night in France on April 9, Escape to Italy on April 23, Greek Getaway on May 8, Spanish Fiesta on May 15, and An American Classic on May 29.
