Qahwah House has been setting the standard for Yemeni coffee in the U.S., and their Sugar Land location brings that same commitment to quality, comfort, and culture to a new part of Houston. Known for roasting organic beans from Yemen in-house, the coffee here is as fresh and flavorful as it gets—but now, there’s more than just coffee to sip on.
Just in time for spring, Qahwah House launched a new matcha line, and it's become our go-to for something cool and refreshing. The lineup features five standout flavors—Strawberry, Banana, Mango, Lavender, and Coconut—each blended to bring a unique twist to the earthy base of matcha.
We love that this matcha menu fits right into the Qahwah House vibe—everything is made with great ingredients, and presented beautifully. And while the matcha drinks are a new highlight, there’s plenty more worth exploring on the menu.
We have a few menu item staples that we rotate often. The Adeni Chai is warm and spiced just right, and the Iced Yemeni Latte is smooth, lightly sweetened, and ultra-refreshing. We also love the Mango Refresher, which is vibrant and super drinkable.
To pair with the drinks, don’t miss the Khaliat Al Nahl, a soft, honeycomb-style bread with cream cheese filling, or the Golden Basboassa, a moist semolina cake with hints of cardamom and saffron—both perfect alongside a hot or iced drink.
Qahwah House also happens to be an ideal WFH spot. The spacious layout, plenty of outlets, and comfortable seating make it easy to focus. It's a place to meet, work, relax—and now, try a matcha flavor you didn’t know you needed!
