18 Houston Restaurants & Bars Celebrating Cinco De Mayo (For Takeout & Curbside Too)

The world might look a little different right now - restaurants are operating at 25% capacity, most people are practicing social distancing, and alcohol is being offered to-go. Needless to say, fear and anxiety is looming through the air. However, tomorrow is Cinco De Mayo, and we are most definitely using it as an excuse to get a little festive at home. Restaurants and bars are on our side and are offering some fun specials & deals in celebration (most are available for takeout and curbside pickup too).

1. Cuchara

The restaurant will be offering live music, $2 tacos, and margaritas and a half, but if you're wanting to stay inside and only do takeout for awhile, they will also have different food and drink packages ranging from $40-$100.

2. Cascabel

Whether you're vegan or not, tomorrow is the perfect time to try Cascabel Vegan. They will have $1.99 vegan tacos and $5 margaritas all day!

3. La Esquina Food Truck

This food truck will be offering a special plate (details go live on their social media tomorrow), FREE beer, and jello shots. Get it to go and/or call ahead to place an order.

4. Lupe Tortilla

Order your family packs, margaritas, and/or beer buckets tomorrow.

5. Spice Lane

Spice up your Cinco De Mayo with $5.05 Garlic Butta Crawfish and margarita specials from Sugar Land's new restaurant, Spice Lane.

6. Studewood Cantine

$75 Fajita & Rita packs (includes 1/2 Galllon House Margarita, 1lb Mesquite Grilled Beef Fajitas, 1lb Mesquite Grilled Chicken Fajitas, 1lb Mexican Rice, 1lb Refried Beans, 1lb Fresh Tortillas (dzn), and

Mantequilla, Guac, Sour Cream, Pico & Cheddar.

7. Cyclone Anaya's

Offering a variety of takeout specials including a $60 Margarita Party Kit (serves 6-7), $35 Taco Party Kit, and $50 Fajita Grill-at-Home Kit (feeds 4).

8. Tikila's in the Heights

Food trucks will be congregating at Tikila's tomorrow for all the festivities! $45/50 Tequila kits, frozen drinks, and micheladas available with the purchase of food.

10. La Marisquera Seafood

Open tomorrow for dine-in and to-go. $5 margaritas all day and $59.99 family pack (includes Fried Shrimp, Fried Fish, Hush Puppies, French Fries, and Fried Rice)! Add Micheladas for only $20.

11. Alma Latina

One of our favorite Mexican restaurants is offering the Ultimate Fajitas & Ritas Meal, including tender aged beef & chicken fajita, butterfly shrimp, jalapeño cheese sausage, and all the fixings for $124.99. Serves 4-6 people. Also includes a 1.75L bottle of their House Margarita. Serves 8-10 margaritas.

Taco Trio Tuesday includes 3 taqos and a drink for only $10!

13. Flying Fish

Another great special here! 2 taco entrees (tilapia or catfish) and 2 margaritas for only $20. Offering takeout, curbside, and dine-in.

14. La Calle Tacos

La Calle is celebrating with their $.99 Taco Tuesday special and frozen margaritas.

15. Tacos a go go

Celebrate with a party pack and 1/2 gallon of margarita for $59.99. They will also have a live mariachi band online!
