Tucked away in Old Katy, Pan Pa Venezuela is the kind of neighborhood bakery that instantly makes you feel at home. The air is filled with the irresistible aroma of freshly baked bread, and display cases brim with golden, flaky pastries. Every detail speaks of care and craftsmanship. More than just a bakery, it’s a heartfelt reflection of its owner, David—a Venezuelan baker who has been sharing his passion and talent with the community for over seven years.

Cozy and inviting, Pan Pa Venezuela has a charming, almost cottage-like ambiance. Cycling and triathlon medals hang throughout the space, adding a personal, lived-in touch that tells a story. It’s clear this isn’t just a business—it’s a labor of love that has become a beloved local gem.

Pan Pa Venezuela specializes in Venezuelan breads and pastries, and everything is made fresh throughout the day. You’ll find classics like cachitos (soft rolls stuffed with ham and cheese), pan de jamón, and guava rolls that are just the right amount of sweet and flaky. Their panettone has a reputation of its own—one regular told us it’s the best he’s had, even better than versions he’s tried back in Venezuela.

But it doesn’t stop there. David also blends international flavors into his menu, like the Dubai Chocolate Croissant, which is indulgent, airy, and layered with rich chocolate. They also bake pizza to order, and their paninis make for an easy but satisfying lunch option.

The shop itself is small but filled with personality, and the selection rotates just enough to keep you coming back. If you're not local to Katy, we recommend turning it into a day trip—there are some great antique shops nearby that make it worth the drive! If you love bread, pastries, or discovering new flavors, Pan Pa Venezuela should be your next stop.
