New Elevated Thai Restaurant With Live Music: Silk N Spice in Cypress, TX

To elevate your next date night, you need to put Silk N Spice on your radar! They’re an elevated Thai restaurant that nails the weekend dinner vibe with warm hospitality, beautiful interiors, and live music that sets the perfect tone for a night out.

We went on a Friday evening and were immediately struck by the beautiful space—dim lighting, modern decor, and plenty of room! Service was top tier from the moment we walked in, with staff who were attentive, friendly, and happy to offer recommendations.

Food-wise, the Thai Delight Wings, topped with fried basil are a must. Crispy, flavorful, and drizzled with a completely addictive sauce. The Massaman Beef Curry brought a deep, smoky richness that had us scraping the bowl, and the Tom Yum Talay hotpot was packed with seafood and that signature Thai tang that seafood lovers will appreciate.

We heard they’ve made some new additions to their menu, and will be back to try them! The Beef Noodle Soup and Herbal Chicken Fried Rice are on our list.

Live music plays Friday through Sunday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., with guitar and piano performances rotating throughout the weekend. We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before the music starts to beat the dinner rush and take advantage of the time to get settled in with a drink. Happy Hour runs daily from 3 to 7 p.m., and includes drinks and appetizers! It’s a beautiful date night restaurant, especially with the live music going!
