If you’ve been following us for awhile, you may know that Wimberley is one of our favorite Texas towns to visit. It’s such a cute town with beautiful scenery and great dining options.

THINGS TO DO:

  • Jacob’s Well // A beautiful natural spring, though no swimming is allowed currently, it’s still a must-see
  • Kayak and swim on the Blanco River // Rentals and day passes are available at 7A Ranch
  • Blue Hole Regional Park // Natural, spring-fed swimming hole with walking trails
  • The Lodge at Cypress Falls // Swim and fish (catch & release only) at this swimming hole, plus they’re dog-friendly
  • Stroll Wimberley Square // Explore locally owned boutiques, art galleries, antique shops, restaurants, and bars
  • Hunt for the colorful painted boots around town
  • Old Baldy Hiking Trail // Hike 218 rock steps that lead to 360 views of Wimberley Valley

WHERE TO STAY:

  • The Bygone // Boutique hotel ~5 minutes from Wimberley Square with a panoramic hill country view
